Sarah Misener is a lifelong Lansing native whose creative journey began in childhood and has grown across many artistic mediums. From early drawing and coloring to exploring graphite, oils, acrylics, gouache, watercolor, ceramics, jewelry-making, and printmaking, creating has always been a constant in her life.

Today, Sarah focuses on linoleum printmaking and painting, drawing inspiration from the natural world, especially plants and wildlife. Her work blends careful detail with a desire to share quiet moments of beauty and connection.

In 2019, after graduating from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, she launched her art business, The Blooming Brush, through Etsy. Her work is now also available at Framer’s Edge in Okemos, Great Lakes Art & Gifts, and select craft shows around Michigan.
