AmmaMama +1 consists of three generations of creativity. Anne Burwick, daughter Julie Boruta and granddaughter, Addison Boruta make up this happy trio. All bringing completely different vibes to their creations, which makes them a great team.
After receiving an art degree from Purdue University, Anne started her art career doing store windows. Since then she has wore many hats. Included in that is 25 years refurbishing women’s jackets. Coat-Tales was a great experience! Once arriving at GLAG, Anne wanted to do all things BLING! Enjoying sparkle in her life, Anne makes purses, makeup bags, pillow covers and more come to life and sparkle!
Julie, a full time special education teacher and mother of two teenagers, finds her peaceful place in her art. Julie likes to experiment in many forms of art. Her Mandala dot painting on records are a show stopper. She also does acrylic paint pour with a resin seal on Michigan magnets and much more. And we can’t forget about her college and professional sport’s jewelry!
Addison, working the show circuit with her mom and grandmother, wanted to test her own creativity! Addison makes interesting necklaces and rings. Finding real stones and learning to wire wrap, she is well on her way to finding the joy that art can truly bring.
