Mother Patricia E Briones and Daughter Alita Briones of Lansing, Michigan!

Our artwork represents aspects of our colorful and vibrant Mexican culture. We incorporate in our artwork a variety of Mexican crafts and mediums.

Alita specializes in “repujado” (which translates into embossed tin.) She makes crosses, decorative boxes, sacred hearts and beautiful jewelry.

Patricia enjoys making miniature altars and nativity’s, as well as decorative items that feature Lotería cards and many Frida Kahlo inspired items.

Patricia has always admired her daughter Alita’s amazing talent and wanted to share it and her own work with the world. They decided to join Great Lakes Art Gallery in order to lovingly feature many aspects of their beautiful, vibrant Mexican culture.
