Colleen Bess, an artist, began creating mosaics in 2003 while battling cancer. Her friend Judy encouraged her to create mosaics while being treated with chemo and radiation.

Colleen enjoys working with a variety of materials to create a one-of-a-kind piece of art. She uses various items in her mosaics: old china, stained glass, recycled glass, smalti, clay pieces, and found items. Her work includes picture frames, mirrors, and wall art.
